Sailing News
PC Douglas Wefer wins the 2008 Heartbreak Regatta.   Five fairly hardy sailors made it down for the Heartbreak Regatta at Sea Cliff Yacht Club on Sunday, February 17th. The temperatures were cool and the skies overcast but there was wind - albeit puffy and shifty from the South/Southeast. Race Committee Chairman Carol Hoeber ran 6 prompt double windward-leeward races to keep the group always sailing. Never could you relax sailing downwind to the finish as holes and puffs allowed many to come from behind.

Final results were:

1. PC Doug Wefer
2. Paul Wefer
3. Lee Montes
4. PC John Dawson
5. Rob Ehrlich
