Ideal 18 Program

The Ideal 18 Program is now available to all Members, as the fee is included in the membership dues.  The Program is a great way to introduce yourself to the world of sailing.  In order to make use of the Club's 6 sail boats, you must register and pass a certification every two years.  The program entails a Friday night seminar hosted by experienced Club members and guest speakers.  Saturday mornings are reserved for the "hands on" training on the boats,  while Sunday mornings are used for some extra practice time. Sunday afternoons are set aside for racing for the more experienced sailors, in a casual and friendly atmosphere. All in all the Ideal 18 program is a great way to hone your skills whether you are a beginner or experienced sailor.  To find out more, please contact the one of the program chairpersons, Jim Arnemann, or John Haley.
